Carroll Painting · Family-owned since 1988
Fresh walls without assuming every surface is included.
A Colorado Springs proposal identified living-area and loft walls while explicitly excluding ceiling and trim painting.
Adapted from an actual Carroll Painting proposal. Names, addresses and prices are omitted. This account explains proposed work, not a completed project or a homeowner testimonial.
The starting point
The room name did not tell the whole story.
This interior proposal listed the living room, dining area and kitchen together, with a separate entry for the loft. Both entries specified walls.
The product-and-application section made the boundary explicit: ceiling painting was listed as none, and trim painting was also listed as none. Naming a room therefore did not mean every surface in it was included.
The documented preparation
A focused scope still had a preparation plan.
The proposal described protecting floors and furniture, filling cracks and nail holes as needed, preparing glossy surfaces where necessary, scraping peeling areas and priming raw materials to be painted.
It also described daily cleanup and organizing painting materials. These were proposed process steps for the agreed work; they did not expand the job into painting the excluded ceilings, doors or baseboards.
The Carroll approach
Review the surfaces alongside the rooms.
This estimate offered a simple way to avoid mismatched expectations: review the surface list rather than rely on the phrase interior painting alone.
For this Colorado Springs 80907 plan, the documented focus was walls. A homeowner wanting ceiling or trim painting would need to discuss that additional scope instead of assuming it came with the room entry.
The proposal allowed colors to be specified or chosen after booking and described a final walkthrough. This account records the plan, not a completed project or a testimonial.
