A cabinet finish plan includes the return to everyday use.
A kitchen cabinet proposal specified doors, drawers and frames, then included guidance about using the freshly finished surfaces.
Adapted from an actual Carroll Painting proposal. Names, addresses and prices are omitted. This account explains proposed work, not a completed project or a homeowner testimonial.
The kitchen scope
Name the cabinet parts being finished.
This proposal identified kitchen cabinet doors, drawers and frames or boxes separately. The recorded quantities made the scope more concrete than a general cabinet-painting label.
That gives a homeowner useful questions to ask: which components will be prepared and finished, and do the included parts match the cabinets they expect to have refinished?
The proposed coating system
Preparation and products belong beside the scope.
The estimate named a cabinet primer and described a hard, durable finish for the cabinet surfaces. These are specifications in a proposal, not evidence that a particular product was later applied.
For an actual project, the selected coating system and application plan should be confirmed with Carroll. This story does not turn one estimate’s product wording into a universal instruction for every kitchen.
Planning around daily life
Talk about when and how the kitchen will be used.
The proposal included instructions about refilling cabinets and avoiding hard use after application. That connected the finishing plan to ordinary kitchen habits, rather than ending the discussion at the paint color.
Before work starts, confirm the selected product and the instructions that apply to its drying, curing and care. The original estimate’s timings are not reproduced here as a general guarantee.
Bring this question to your walkthrough.
Ask which doors, drawers and frames are included, what product system is proposed and what the crew recommends for returning the kitchen to use after application.
